Cypress Regional Meeting
Fitting with InSight:  Develop an Understanding of the Principles of Scleral Lens Fitting and Evaluation


Synopsis: The consultants from Metro Optics along with Dr. Harthan will teach attendees the basics of scleral lens fitting for both the irregular and regular cornea. There will be a short didactic introduction discussing indications for scleral lenses and basic fitting strategies followed by hands-on practice of application and removal. Live lens evaluations and troubleshooting tips will round out the evening.

“Anterior Segment Challenges


Synopsis: Dr. Gurpreet Singh will discuss several challenging anterior segment cases. He will discuss Corneal edema after cataract surgery. Also discussed with be conjunctival intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN). He will discuss how to manage conjunctivochalasis – tips for diagnosis, as well as medical and surgical management. Last, he will discuss treatment options for Fuchs.
